My Broad Beans I got in in November are starting to come up! My peas arn’t, but I’m thinking of starting off more beans where the peas were, so when the first crop is finished I’ll have more to come. I like Beans.
Garden Focused is a nifty website where you put in the crops you want to grow and where you live, and will calculate what you should be doing when, taking into account the latest predicted frost for your area!
After adding York I chose Potatoes, Garlic, Onion, Beetroot and Sweetcorn and it came up with the above which I like the look and also means I don’t have to do any work until March 🙂
I haven’t started planning anything properly yet, this is more of a guideline than a proportionally accurate representation but it’s enough to be going on with. Obviously the only thing in so far are the Broad Beans, which don’t appear to be doing anything yet. Though we did just have a frost for about a week, so I don’t suppose that helped. So far nothing has happened to Les’s beans either and they were put in at the same time.
